I have tried to provide you with some good tips to choose the guitar that is best suited for your requirements while you join any of these online guitar courses.

Many people get fascinated by the sound of guitar and without thinking about their real talent, invest a huge amount of money in the best electric guitar, amp and other accessories, but only after starting to learn they realize that Guitar is not their cup of tea. So in order to avoid that situation, I have prepared the most Frequently Asked and Relevant Questions that people might have in their minds before they venture into buying a new guitar and getting the right guitar manual. You must find answers to all these following questions before you go ahead and buy a guitar. If you do that you can easily master acoustic or electric guitar and be a pro guitarist.

Q1. Which guitar should I go for Acoustic or Electric guitar?

Ans: It is always better to buy an Acoustic guitar to start off. That's because, some people lose interest in playing and practicing the guitar pretty quickly within months of buying an expensive guitar with all it's accessories and you will waste your money. If that happens with you, then the money that you have put in will be a dead investment. So I would strongly recommend you to buy an acoustic guitar first and start learning it and then see whether you are gaining interest in it or not, if you think you are, then after couple of months you can go in for a basic electric guitar and an amp.

Note: My Suggestion for the best Acoustic Guitar would be Gibson. It is adored by thousands of guitarists around the world

Q2. Many people have this question in their minds, which guitar is easy to master, Acoustic or Electric ? Learning guitar is not as easy as you think !

Ans: Acoustic or Electric guitar, both are the same instrument. The only differing factor is the method in which the sound is produced in each of them. In an acoustic guitar the sound is produced from the hollow box where as in an electric guitar the Electric Pickup or Humbucker picks up the sound produced from the strings and then it is transmitted to the sound amplifier.

Electric guitar strings are placed closer to the fret board than of the acoustic guitar and the fret board is much thinner, making it easier for the hand to hold and the movement across the neck easier. So it won't matter on which type of guitar you start with. But if you are not in a position to invest more on your guitar venture, then it is better to go for an Acoustic guitar initially.

Q3. Which is the best guitar to buy ? and How much would it cost ?

Ans: A good acoustic guitar would cost anywhere between $50 to $70 and an electric guitar prices can cost anywhere from $100 and it can go up to $3000 or more. It all depends on the quality of pick ups( or humbuckers) that they use.

Q4. In how much time I can learn to play guitar like a professional?

Ans: Learning any musical instrument, be it guitar or a piano is an on-going process. The time taken to master any musical instrument will depend on how much effort you put in for learning and practicing it. So it can be 1 year or 10 years, it all depends on your effort and hard work.

Q5. Now comes the most crucial question that most people find it difficult to get a good answer. Who can teach me guitar in the best and easiest possible way or which course should I enroll for ?

Ans. Learning any musical instrument should be done in a structured way. Guitar should never be attempted to learn randomly from here and there. And learning it should be a slow and easy. Never push yourself hard to sound like a pro as soon as you start or to become popular in a short time. So having the right tutor or guide or lesson is VERY IMPORTANT.

I started learning guitar with the good old books of 'Nick Manoloff's'. They are really nice books. It had all the fundamental concepts in it and was highly structured and informative. But the disadvantage was that, if you are stuck somewhere in the book, there is no one to help you out, no audio help, no video help nothing but no complaints. It was an old generation guitar manual and I can't expect anything more than that.

But now the things are pretty easy, you will get the most easy and step-by-step, dynamic and up to date guitar guides and tutors on the internet that covers all the fundamentals as well as different contemporary styles that are popular. Learning guitar is a 'walk in the park' these days. You can start to master any particular style or genre of your choice right from the beginning and then work towards that, with audio lessons, video lessons, step by step instructions with audio and many more. You name it you have it. There is no question of you getting stuck anywhere, as you will have access to a pool of guitar gurus who you can get your queries cleared. It's really exciting these days to learn guitar.
